During the meeting, the head of the service and the heads of the divisions thanked the Minister of Defense for the professional and fruitful cooperation, and for the common way that made a significant contribution to countermeasures, in many operations, including the "Dawn" operation and operations to counter terrorist infrastructures in Israel.
The Minister of Defense told those present: "As someone who has accompanied the organization for many years, I know how to see the reality beneath the surface - and I would like to thank you on behalf of all the citizens of Israel for the thousands of terrorist attacks that have been foiled, for the many daring actions for the security of the citizens of Israel - inside the country, and far beyond its borders The General Security Service is a symbol of professionalism, values, and technological progress. I am sure that you will continue to march the organization forward under the leadership of the Shin Bet chief to significant operational achievements that will never be counted."
