"Bares for Rares" Walter announces the end of his career.

However, not as a dealer in the popular ZDF show, but as a roller skater on "Skate Fever".

He causes a wave of mourning on the internet.

Kall/North Rhine-Westphalia – "It is with great regret that I will end my career," writes Walter Lehnertz (55) under his new Instagram video.

But before all "Bares for Rares" fans fall into shock: don't worry, he only means his roller skating career with "Skate Fever".

"Bares for Rares" star Waldi ends his career: "To keep the younger place free"

After 80 days of training, “80-Euro-Waldi” hangs up his roller skates and now announces his “Skate Fever” on Instagram.

The reason:

He is too old to dance on roller skates.

The "Bares for Rares" dealer wants to "keep the place free for younger people," says Waldi in the Instagram video.

"From a certain age, the body doesn't take it that well, so every fall hurts twice as much," he explained.

But some fans don't seem to have listened carefully or just read the video title and assumed that Waldi will no longer be seen on "Bares for Rares" in the future.

The shock of his fans is so deep that the comment column is flooded with sad news.

Of course it's a pity that you can no longer admire Waldi on roller skates, but the show will be canceled anyway.

Because the ratings of "Skate Fever" were so bad, RTL2 is now banning the show from the program on the Internet.

Whether there will be a second season is questionable.
