Before the climate conference, the Ministry of Environmental Protection conducted a survey from which it emerged that most Israelis are worried about the climate crisis.

Environmental Protection Minister Tamar Zandberg said that "the public looks up to the governments of the world and expects them to show leadership in the face of the climate crisis and make a change, out of concern for the future of the globe. Israel is coming to this year's conference in Sharm el-Sheikh in better shape than last year, but there is still a lot of work to be done. At the conference We will present the Israeli achievements and reach out to regional and global collaborations to build common climate resilience."
