A Delaware woman won state lottery games twice last month and claimed her $400,000 in winnings in a single day, according to lottery officials.

His winning tickets weren't for Monday night's Powerball lottery, whose jackpot has ballooned to $1.9 billion, but for more mundane scratch-off games, officials said in an October statement.

The woman was not identified, as winners can remain anonymous under a law that regulates state lottery gambling in Delaware, one of six states that allow anonymity for some or all winners.

In a statement, the Delaware Lottery announced that the winner and a friend went to its headquarters on Oct. 20 to claim winnings from a $100,000 Ultimate Cash instant game ticket that she had purchased at a gas station in Newark, where she lives. .
