The Directorate of Culture of Raqqa launches the Arab Poetry Forum, the course of the poet Mustafa Al-Hassoun

Hama, SANA- The Arab Poetry Forum kicked off today, the course of the poet Mustafa Al-Hassoun, which is held by the Directorate of Culture in Raqqa.

Today, the Arab Poetry Forum kicked off the session of the poet Mustafa Al-Hassoun, which is held by the Directorate of Culture in Raqqa, in the hall of the Directorate of Culture in Hama.

The two-day forum included a variety of activities including intellectual seminars, poetry readings and critical sessions. On the first day, a film was shown about literature and writers in Raqqa and the life of the poet Mustafa Al-Hassoun.

Also today, an intellectual symposium was held entitled (Arabic poetry and the crisis of the recipient), in which Dr. Hayel Taleb, Dr. Wesal Al-Hamid and Professor Sami Taha participated, and the session was moderated by Dr. Anas Badawi.

The Director of Culture in Raqqa, Muhammad Al-Ahmad Al-Abdoun, stressed in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of the forum as a cultural event, in which a group of writers, poets and critics participate.

The Samoudi poet presented a poem entitled (His Eyes), and the poet Al-Naqari participated in the poem (Rubble of War and Love), while the poet Arab recited the poem (The Euphrates District).

The forum will conclude tomorrow with a symposium entitled (Arabic Poetry between Tradition and Abstraction), in which a number of writers will participate, and poetry readings will be attended by a number of poets.
