For a long time there was doubt, cancellation and rescheduling.

But now it is certain: the cultural autumn is returning to the Schwabbruck cowshed.

Schwabbruck – Stephan Kögl's anticipation is obvious.

"There is a cultural autumn in the cowshed," announces the head of the Schwabbrucker Schäferwirt euphorically to our newspaper.

"Even if only in a slimmed-down form - in 'light', so to speak." For a long time it was not clear whether the Corona situation would allow celebrating and dancing together at all.

There have been many cancellations, doubts and reorganizations, says Kögl.

But now the program is set: Exactly a handful of artists are taking part in the cultural autumn.

This year there will be five evenings on which the cowshed will attract concerts by regional artists and bands.

The “Greek evening”

on October 2nd was the start under the motto “Dance to unity ”.

"The response was surprisingly good," says the organizer.

However, the incidence increased significantly thereafter.

"Although we don't want to take ourselves too seriously," says Kögl with a wink.

"After all, there was a big folk festival nearby at the same time."

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Schongau newsletter.)

Concerts in the Schwabbruck cowshed

Next up is the

band "Notenschluss" on November 11th

with a benefit concert for the Nepal Initiative on the Kuhstall stage.

"Gerhard Windisch and his former teaching colleagues want to know again," says Kögl happily.

Admission is free, donations go exclusively to the initiators.

Start is at 7.30 p.m.

A week later, on November 19th, it will be experimental.

Then

"Naked on the Telephone" and "24/7 Breakdown"

exchange blows.

From 8 p.m. the bands will duel live on the Kuhstall stage and compete for the attention of the audience.

The Munich choir "Don Camillo"

, which won the Bavarian Choir Competition, is

finally back on the Kuhstall stage this year .

On November 20th at 7.30 p.m. the singers offer a mixture of a cappella sound worlds from pop and jazz music.

Finally, on November 25, the

"Swinging Cotelettes"

invite you to dance in the Schäferwirt.

The celebrations will start at 8 p.m. with

“Balkanskaswingbongorock”

, as the organizers announce the concert.

David Gramberg performs in the cowshed

The musician

David Gramberg

is expected in the cowshed as the crowning glory of the cultural autumn.

He is the headliner of the series of events and is returning home from his support tour with "Joris" and the "Sportfreunde Stiller" - just in time for his new album "Where have you gone" to be released.

The fact that Gramberg, despite its great success, is not above rocking the Kuhstall stage should not only please Kögl.

David Gramberg's performance and EP release party will take place on November 27 at 6 p.m.

Further information, prices and tickets for the Kulturherbst concerts are available on the Kuhstall website.
