A week after the computer failure that paralyzed the Nice University Hospital for several hours, the department was the victim of a cyberattack on Thursday, targeting all of its computer networks,
Le Figaro
learned in a press release.
The county council was thus forced to cut its networks in order to protect the data and isolate its computer system.
At the same time, a complaint was filed and a notification was sent to the National Commission for Computing and Liberties (CNIL).

This cyberattack was fixed by experts from the Department of Digital Services (DSN) of the community, who immediately triggered a crisis unit to prevent the spread of the virus.
The DSN works in collaboration with Orange cyberdéfense and with the help of the National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI).
The overall diagnosis of the attack is “
in progress
”, specifies the press release, but the responsiveness of the response “
allows us to consider that no community data has been hacked and that all business applications are protected
”.
In addition, "
all the missions and public services of the community remain operational despite the closure of the networks
", assures the department.
