Following the announcements yesterday (Thursday) about the agreement between Israel, FIFA and the Qataris that will allow the operation of direct flights on the Tel Aviv-Doha route during the World Cup period, the TUS company submitted an application for the operation of the direct flights. The company already has the flight rights.
In May, Yoav Limor revealed in "Israel Hayom" that negotiations are taking place for direct flights between Israel and Qatar, and now an agreement has indeed been reached.
The World Cup will start in 10 days, and it is estimated that more companies will publish the flight prices in the coming days.

Israel and Qatar do not have diplomatic relations, and the flights between the countries are history.
There will also be consular services for Israeli citizens through a special team that will be established in Qatar.
Alon Oshfiz, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the agreement: "I would like to thank FIFA and the Qatari hosts. Today's announcement will allow Israeli citizens to travel freely to Qatar and participate in the World Cup games. We have successfully closed all guarantees, including Israel's access to consular services during their stay in Qatar . As the first World Cup that the Middle East has ever hosted, a celebration of soccer is guaranteed and an opportunity for Israelis to build relationships and share cultural experiences with people from all over our region and the wider world. I thank the many partners for the achievement, including the government ministries and the soccer association."
