A 64-year-old restaurateur died of an accused illness after an attempted robbery in his restaurant in Torre del Lago, in the province of Lucca.
According to what was ruthless by the carabinieri, in the restaurant that the man managed with a partner, around 11:40 pm yesterday a man, a foreigner, in a strong state of agitation, would have entered, who would have threatened the owners by demanding that they serve him alcohol and cigarettes and wounding one in the hand with a wooden stake.
Carabinieri and police intervened on the spot and the foreigner was arrested.
Subsequently, the 64-year-old accused of an illness: he was transported to the hospital where he died.
