An ex-hurricane is on its way to Europe.

On the west coast it arrives as a hurricane and influences the weather situation in Germany.

Munich — The sun is shining, temperatures are around 15 degrees and it's mid-November.

Some are enjoying the good weather, others are seriously concerned about climate change.

Ex-Hurricane "Nicole" can change that.

The storm is moving from the USA towards Europe and could bring the sunny month to an end for the time being.

The storm caused extensive damage and deaths on the East Coast of the United States.

"Nicole" hits the coasts of Europe as a hurricane.

Before the late summer temperatures end, it will be really warm again in Germany.

On Sunday and Monday up to 18 degrees can be reached.

The effects of "Nicole" on the weather in Germany can only be expected from Wednesday, as

weather.com

forecasts.

The storm will be caught by the so-called jet stream as early as the weekend.

This controls the general weather situation and brings the ex-hurricane to Europe.

"Nicole" is currently reaching wind speeds of up to 150 km/h.

The waves on the Atlantic sometimes have a height of 5 to 8 meters.

The ex-hurricane mainly hits Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France, which have to prepare for a severe storm on Monday, as

weather.com

estimated.

The hurricane is very fast, because within four days it is about 6,000 kilometers away.

The storm has completely different consequences for Germany and Central Europe.

Former hurricane "Nicole" changes weather conditions in Germany - it becomes more unstable

The hurricane carries warm air to Scandinavia so that cooler air can get back to Germany.

The pressure structure shifts slightly to the east.

Nevertheless, it should remain mild in the coming period, with a little more rain and wind than in the last few days.

But with such weather conditions there is always a certain residual risk that the weather will change quickly and wintry cold will reach us.

An expert does not see such an onset of winter coming until at least the beginning of December.

The US is still in hurricane season.

The strong storms can form from the beginning of June to the end of November.

Hurricane Ian only hit the state of Florida hard at the end of September.

More than 100 people died and many places were completely devastated.

Hurricane Nicole hit the southwestern United States as a Category 4 out of 5 hurricane. Nicole traveled as far as New York and Canada and from there made his way to Europe.

As the

New York Times

reported, four people lost their lives as a result of the hurricane.
