The branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation in Daraa has completed the necessary arrangements to open five new outlets for the sale of subsidized materials in the countryside of Daraa.

The director of the branch of the Syrian Trade Establishment, Engineer Omar Al-Saadi, told SANA that the outlets will be operated in the towns of Ma`ribah, Al-Sahwa, Al-Na`ima, Ain Zikr and Al-Qunia to facilitate the process of citizens receiving their allowances from subsidized materials through the electronic card.

He added: The opening of new outlets will continue in the rural areas of the governorate within the branch’s plan in the field of horizontal expansion and serving the people, noting that the institution is in contact with the heads of city and town councils to activate outlets within their work centers, which will reduce the financial burdens on citizens.

Al-Saadi indicated that the distribution of sugar and rice in the current session through the electronic card and according to the messaging system is progressing at a good pace, as 1250 tons of rice were sold at a rate of 95 percent, while 440 tons of sugar were sold at a rate of 26 percent, indicating that the percentage of sugar distribution will rise during In the coming period, after the arrival of supplies from the General Administration, last week the branch was supplied with a quantity of 100 tons.

The number of legalized sales outlets in Daraa is 18, distributed among the cities and towns of the governorate.
