Donald Trump still has big career goals after the midterms.

But his daughter and son-in-law are no longer available for this.

Washington, DC - The US midterm counts are still ongoing.

In some states, counting should continue until Monday (November 14).

But even without a final result, one thing is certain: this year's midterm elections were a defeat for the Republicans.

This applies not only, but above all, to Donald Trump.

Because many of the candidates who had supported the ex-president in the election campaign were punished by the electorate in the midterms.

Mehmet Oz clearly lost to Democrat John Fetterman in Pennsylvania.

Herschel Walker also finished behind Raphael Warnock in Georgia – although the runoff election is still pending here.

14 candidates who directly supported Donald Trump are said to have missed their election target, which in turn made him “foam”.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner: Don't feel like the White House

Regardless of the poor results in the midterms, Trump is apparently still planning a “big announcement”.

He had promised that one day before the midterms for November 15th.

It is widely expected that Trump will then announce his presidential candidacy for the 2024 US election.

Numerous Republican protagonists had begged Trump in the past few days not to do so so as not to jeopardize Walker's chances in the runoff election in Georgia on December 6.

If Trump ignores the warnings from his own ranks, he will have to forego part of his family support if he runs again.

According to a report by CNN, neither Donald's daughter Ivanka Trump nor her husband Jared Kushner want anything to do with Trump's candidacy again.

The couple are currently "not interested in anything to do with Washington or the White House."

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner followed Donald Trump to Washington, DC after his victory in the 2016 US election.

They were given influential jobs as advisors and advisers to the President.

The Trump family was accused of nepotism.

While Ivanka presented herself as a campaigner for women's rights during her time in the White House, Jared Kushner had a job that would have been enough for 20 terms in office: Among other things, he was supposed to regulate the care of veterans of the US Army, the Middle Bring peace to the East and end the US opioid crisis.

After Donald Trump's defeat in 2020, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner initially withdrew completely from the public eye.

The couple, who now no longer live in the capital but in Palm Beach (Florida) - not far from Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump's residence, have remained quiet to this day.

Ivanka Trump occasionally publishes one or the other holiday photo on Instagram, but both seem to have finished politics.

They also stayed away from the public during the midterms, unlike Ivanka's brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, for example, who were both very active in campaigning for Trump's nominees.
