While senior Likud officials are waiting for the distribution of positions in the next government which will only begin when the coalition negotiations are finished, they celebrated the victory this evening (Sunday) at a party at the home of Bat Yam Mayor Zvika Brot.
The victory party was attended by Eli Cohen, Miri Regev, David Bitan, Yoav Kish, Shlomo Karai, Israel Katz, Yuli Edelstein, Ofir Katz, Eidit Silman, Boaz Bismut, Amichai Shikli, Moshe Saada and Lior Katsav. In the footage from the scene, the participants are seen dancing in circles , and sing karaoke into microphones.

Earlier today, State President Yitzhak Herzog imposed the mandate on Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu, who will officially begin the task of forming the next government. This, at the end of the round of consultations that Herzog held with representatives of the factions last week at his residence in Jerusalem, during which 64 recommended Netanyahu. In his speech, Herzog referred to the ongoing trial against Netanyahu, about which he said that he is not "taking it lightly.
