In her Spotify podcast “Archetypus”, Meghan Markle gets food for thought in conversation with a successful woman.
Now the Duchess is considering how to raise her children Archie and Lilibet to be more independent.
Montecito – After talks with Paris Hilton (41) about blondes and Mariah Carey (52) about hair, the Meghan Markle (41) Spotify podcast featured the topic "To 'B' or not to 'B'".
Talking to Mellody Hobson (53), Co-CEO of Ariel Investments.
and actress Victoria Jackson (63) was about the "B word" (for bitch, German bitch, bitch), but also about the childhood of 53-year-old Hobson.
"I need to rethink my parenting style," Markle admitted
Mellody, who grew up with very little money, shared how, as a sixth grader, she looked for and found an orthodontist all by herself - and got the doctor to offer her a payment plan as she didn't have the financial means to get optical dentistry.
"I need to rethink my parenting style," Markle said.
"If that's what you are, then I really have to work hard to help our kids become independent."

The youngest of six children, Hobson was raised by a single mother in Chicago: “I found my own orthodontist.
I went to the appointment myself," Hobson says of finding braces in sixth grade.
"I asked all my friends who their orthodontist was and called and made an appointment because I had a fang, one of those teeth that sticks out at the top.
It was so awful.
I knew I couldn't go through life like this."
Meghan's insights into her everyday life
Also in a podcast episode, Markle gave a glimpse of how she and Harry share parenting responsibilities.
"Oh my man?
Oh he's awesome!" Meghan gushed on the episode, noting that Prince Harry, 38, helps her "take Archie down the stairs" in the mornings while she cooks.
"I'll make breakfast for all three of you.
This is very important to me.
I do it with pleasure."
Meghan's statement can also be understood as a taunt against the Royals

Although the family struggled to make ends meet, Hobson said, her mother always encouraged them to do whatever they wanted.
Her first success story was her straight teeth.
Later in life, it's harder to stand up for what you want, Markle mused.
You are often portrayed as “difficult” or “obtrusive”.

It could be understood as a little swipe at your time under the British Royals.
Employees had even accused Meghan of bullying, so Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022)
eventually felt compelled to launch an independent investigation.
However, she did not provide the result of the investigation.
