The State Attorney's Office has opened an investigation against the Israeli association "Alkalov" in order to examine whether it transferred funds that turned into terrorist elements, following the publication of an investigation by an organization so far in "Israel Hayom".
Knesset member Orit Strock contacted the state attorney's office after the article was published, and they announced in response that they had started a procedure to review the matter.
In an investigation published last September, it was revealed that the "Alkalov Al-Rahima" association, which was established in 2016 and operates from Nazareth, transferred tens of millions of shekels to Syria.
The Deputy State Attorney informed MK Orit Struck that he had contacted the security authorities to examine the transfers of funds from the association to the terrorist elements. As mentioned, following the investigation published in Israel Hayom, MK Struck appealed to the State Attorney demanding that he open an investigation against the association and before a number Days later, the answer was received, according to which an inspection procedure will be initiated against the association.
