A new era has begun for the theater group of the Landjugend Schlipps.

Director Melanie Lechner dared to take on a challenge with "love, happiness and trust in God".

Hohenkammer/Schlips

- The widow Monika Lechner (Melanie Lechner) runs a chaotically boarding house together with her house pearl Walli (Franziska Pflügler).

Years before, the girl for everything had taken a vow of silence, does not speak a word and therefore communicates with many gestures.

She is the star of the evening, the darling of the audience and guaranteed action.

Franziska Pflügler delivered a masterly performance, because the silent show is many times more difficult than the most complicated text monologue.

The secret number one brings up Lechner's son (Kilian Fetsch), warns of his difficult girlfriend (Alexandra Goder) and has everything else under control.

Part of the hustle and bustle are regular guest Manfred Baierl (Josef Rattenhuber), postman Gustl (Lukas Lechner) and two hotel guests (Stefanie Geier, Philipp Friedrich).

With Lukas Lechner, Philipp Friedrich and Kilian Fetsch, there are three newcomers among the eight actors.

This internal young stage talent also shows that rural youth got through the Corona years very well.

The association was also quite annoyed by the pandemic because last year two of the four performances had to be canceled due to an actor who tested positive.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

This year Corona no longer played a role in the preparations for the theater in the hall of Gasthaus Bail.

And it is also the year one after the club legend Fred Kopp.

The director said goodbye last year, and his successor was Jack of all trades Melanie Lachner.

She took over directing and one of the main roles herself.

"I think Fred Kopp is quite happy with me as his successor," says Melanie Lechner, not without pride.

She watched rehearsals as a child and has been involved for ten years.

"Theater is my passion," says Lechner.

She also makes it clear that the club made the start easy for her: "We have a great group on and behind the stage."

"because this time it contained a lot of playfully demanding elements".

Franziska Pflügler did a great job of implementing the mute Walli.

If you want to enjoy a nice evening at the theater in Schlips, you have two more opportunities this coming weekend.

Performances three and four are on Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 20 at 6 p.m.

Tickets are available at the box office one hour before the start of the performance.
