Ed Sheeran was a guest in Frankfurt for three concerts on his world tour in September.
However, his appearance at the Frankfurt Oktoberfest made headlines.
Frankfurt – Now Ed Sheeran is completely blank.
His three sold-out concerts at the end of September in the Waldstadion in Frankfurt were not his only appearances in Frankfurt.
A spontaneous visit by the singer to the Frankfurt Oktoberfest has ended up on an auction platform for the second time, as reported by fnp.de.
But from the beginning: Ed Sheeran made a stop in Frankfurt on his world tour at the end of September.
Over a whole weekend, the world star played three concerts in the Waldstadion.
The mood was exuberant, even a short thunderstorm interruption didn't bother the tens of thousands of fans.

Ed Sheeran's beer mug auctioned - now Outfit is going under the hammer
But the visitors at the Frankfurt Oktoberfest also experienced Ed Sheeran up close.
The party area was set up right next to the stadium in September.
So the way wasn't far.
And so Ed Sheeran suddenly stood on stage in lederhosen and with a beer mug in his hand on the evening of his second concert and caused disbelieving faces in the crowd.
First he sang “Perfect”, a song of his own, and then together with the Oktoberfest band “Uptownfunk” by Mark Ronson and “Everybody” by the Backstreetboys they set off fireworks in the marquee.
The mug that Ed Sheeran emptied on stage was auctioned off on ebay classifieds by the organizer of the Frankfurt Oktoberfest.
Shortly after the performance, the glass sold for 1960 euros.
At the end of the auction, the Great Council of the Frankfurt Carnival Associations submitted the highest bid.

The superstar recently announced that he would take a break until 2023.
His fans hope he uses the time for a new album.
Ed Sheeran's most recent record is from 2021. A new album would most likely be accompanied by another tour - maybe also in Frankfurt, and maybe also at the Oktoberfest.
