A 24-year-old was seriously injured.
A 57-year-old driver died at the scene of the accident.
Tschirn/Steinwiesen – With the onset of the cold season, the risk of ice-related accidents increases throughout Germany.
The police headquarters in Upper Bavaria confirmed such an incident on Monday, November 14, 2022: On the route between Steinwiesen and Tschirn in the Kronach district, a 24-year-old lost control of his vehicle.
Shortly afterwards there was a collision.

The weather conditions on Monday morning caused a serious car accident on the KC16 district road between Steinwiesen and Tschirn.
According to police, it was around 7:30 a.m. when the two vehicles collided.
Shortly before, the young driver had lost control of his car - probably a result of the slippery road surface.
The 24-year-old driver of a VW Passat collided with the Skoda Octavia of a 57-year-old motorist.
According to police reports, the engine blocks of the vehicles detached from the vehicles as a result of the collision.

One dead and one seriously injured after an accident in Bavaria
The 24-year-old had to be taken to the hospital with a rescue helicopter, while emergency services on site could only determine the death of the 57-year-old.
According to the police, the accident caused property damage of at least 60,000 euros.
