Two dead in explosion in Poland near Ukrainian border

Misguided Russian missiles may have landed in Polish territory. Two people were killed in explosions in a village near the Ukrainian border. Prime Minister Morawiecki convened the National Security Council.

According to the fire brigade, two people died in an explosion in Poland near the Ukrainian border on Tuesday.

"Firefighters are on site, it's unclear what happened," the officer on duty said.

The Polish radio station ZET had previously reported that two stray rockets had landed in Przewodów, killing two people.

Details were not given.

The AP news agency also reported, citing a high-ranking US intelligence official, that misguided Russian missiles had hit Poland.
