After the mass layoffs at Twitter, it's no surprise that new boss Elon Musk isn't overly popular there.

An employee has now revealed his nickname in the company.

San Francisco – Sales slumps, mass layoffs, departures from the executive floor, trouble with fake accounts and a warning from the US Consumer Protection Agency: So far, the Twitter takeover by US billionaire Elon Musk has been extremely chaotic.

Musk, who also owns the electric car maker Tesla, warned employees that Twitter's balance sheet could face a billion-dollar gap in the coming year.

The new directive could result in even more employees leaving the company.

The team also checked Slack channels and tweets.

In the past few days, more and more critical employees have been laid off.

This should blow a new wind in the corporate culture of Twitter, because under founder Jack Dorsey, critical opinions were allowed.

Nevertheless, a Twitter user shares on the platform against the new Twitter boss: "As an engineer at Twitter, I can confirm that Elon Musk has no idea about our website or programming in general.

The tweet now has over 180,000 likes – but Musk's fans didn't like the statement at all.

"You're fired," wrote one user.
