Today, the SOS Children's Villages Association held a charity dinner under the title No Childhood Without a Family, at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus.

The proceeds of the concert, which was revived by the artist Melhem Zain, with the support of Syriatel and Cham Wings Airlines, will go in favor of securing the living expenses of children and youth who are under the auspices of the association.

The National Director of the Children’s Villages Association, Samer Khaddam, stated that the association works to strengthen families and enable them to prevent children from being separated from their families and support children through a range of programs, including programs that provide care for children with disabilities, indicating that the association’s future plans are to continue providing services while studying the possibility of expansion to the governorates other.

Fares Semaan, Director of Programs at the Society, explained that the ceremony is held annually with the aim of conveying a message of the work provided by the Society through two villages in Damascus and community homes that provide alternative care service, pointing out that the Society provides a range of services that reach the youth stage in order to empower them and achieve complete independence in the future.

Artist Mahmoud Nasr, Ambassador of the Children's Villages Association for Goodwill, indicated that the ceremony, which is held annually, aims to call for more support to sponsor children and provide care for them, pointing out that the main task he is working on is to communicate the voice of children present in the association more through various media, indicating that There are many associations active in the field of humanitarian work and it is important to support them greatly.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Children's Villages Association was established in 1975 and seeks to provide support to children who lack social and family care at all levels.
