With the participation of 30 exhibiting companies, the activities of the specialized exhibition for communications and technology opened today
Information held by Aleppo Governorate and the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics and organized by Thiqa Exhibitions Company at the Sheraton Hotel in Aleppo and will last for three days.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the first digital transformation conference was held to discuss several researches on the prospects for digital transformation between reality and the future, as well as the educational process, business intelligence, digital signature, the public data network and its most important services, and electronic personal marketing.
And a member of the executive office in the governorate, Dr. Abdul Qadir Al-Dawalibi, said in a statement to SANA that the exhibition includes various types of scientific innovations.
Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics in Aleppo, Eng. Samer Alaya, stated that the aim of the conference is to shed light on digital transformation as one of the most important pillars of e-government and to introduce the most important equipment and technologies and how to use them in serving the digital transformation process.
Hassan Najjar, President of the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics, indicated that the conference constitutes the main tributary in all areas that keep pace with digital transformation, and the establishment of the exhibition is a link between the culture of transformation, software practical applications, and artificial intelligence programs, which constitute an important necessity to link it to the culture of society to bring about a process of radical change in the process of transition to a society Digital transformation within a strategy prepared by the Syrian government.
General Manager of Thiqa Exhibitions Company, Wassim Al-Nashed, explained that the exhibition includes various companies specialized in the fields of communications, technology and programming, in addition to companies that provide electronic payment services.
The Director of the Communications Corporation in Aleppo, Eng. Anwar Rahwan, explained the importance of the Corporation's participation in the exhibition, the embodiment of its role and responsibility, and the development of its equipment and programs.
The Director of the Steam Club at the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics, Eng. Shatha Dabbas, spoke about their participation in presenting 10 mechanical projects produced by the club, in addition to three software programs for games, graphics in programming languages, Scratch, and advertising design projects.
The coordinator of the advertising department at Syriatel, Ihab Kazara, pointed out the importance of the role of technology in keeping pace with the developments of society and the company's endeavor to build an economy based on thought and creativity, indicating that, given the importance of the exhibition in society, the company is working to provide support and care for it by providing some offers and services in its booth in addition to selling lines.
Engineer Jamil Shashaa, Director of the Bakeries Branch in Aleppo, explained that the Foundation's participation aims to develop work and move from manual and semi-automatic cases to fully automated lines, in addition to putting new lines into service.
The Director of Technical Support at the Phoenix Organization, Abdul Karim Al-Aws, referred to their participation in the exhibition with a range of services, including linking geographically distributed branches and the Phoenix cloud system.
