Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was paid around 315,000 euros for a speech he gave in the United States in October.
This is the result of a publicly accessible register in which British MPs have to state their income, which was updated on Thursday.
Accordingly, Johnson received the equivalent of exactly 314,830 euros for a 30-minute speech and a subsequent 45-minute discussion before the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers in the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
British newspapers had already reported on the highly paid speech in October, but at the time spoke of a fee of around 144,000 euros (150,000 US dollars) - less than half of what the former prime minister actually received.
Johnson stated in the register that he had worked a total of 8.5 hours.
This brings him to an hourly wage of 37,000 euros.
He and two members of his team were also paid for travel and accommodation.
Johnson delivered the speech just over a month after stepping down as Prime Minister.
