Crystal meth and no driver's license: veil investigators landed hits in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

On Thursday morning (November 17th, 2022, 8:30 a.m.) GAP - veil investigators from GPI Murnau checked a car with a Hanoverian registration on Alleestraße in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Despite stop signals, the driver initially did not react to the police instructions.
A check was only possible when the police car sat in front of the vehicle and blocked further travel.
As it turned out during the inspection, the 31-year-old Turkish excavator driver, who lives in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, had already been noticed during an inspection by GPI Murnau in September 2022.
At that time he was driving on the A 95 with a stolen car and without a driver's license.
In addition, he had repeatedly been noticed by the police in the past for various crimes.
The driver was obviously under the influence of BtM during today's check.
He still didn't have a driver's license.
The investigators also found a seal with around 5 grams of crystal meth in the glove compartment of the car. 15 grams of marijuana and a crack pipe were also found in the car.
He also had almost 1,000 euros on his body, hidden under his pants, which probably came from BtM shops.
The onward journey was stopped and criminal proceedings were initiated for continued driving without a license, the drugs and driving under the influence of BtM.
The cash he had with him was confiscated.
The consumption of crystal leads very quickly to a severe psychological dependence. A small amount is sometimes sufficient - the risk of a life-threatening overdose is also very high. It simulates a suddenly occurring dangerous situation for the body, which puts the organism under constant stress. Basic needs such as hunger, thirst, pain sensitivity and tiredness are then suppressed or no longer perceived. In addition, there can be a strong urge to move and talk, an increased willingness to take risks and socialize, break out in sweat, but also depression and damage to the teeth.
