At 47, the man who has just made his debut as a guest conductor in the pit of the Opéra Bastille frequented the "Grande Boutique" from the inside, even before he could walk.
“My father was a trumpet player in the Opera orchestra for thirty-seven years… And his father before him was a cellist there! He had started at the Opéra-Comique, just before the latter merged, for a time with the Opéra de Paris. So inevitably, it leaves some memories.
