For the third day, the activities of the youth camps launched by the National Union of Syrian Students within the “Think for Syria” initiative continued in the university campus in Barzeh, Damascus.
Head of the Central Office of Higher Education and Student Issues in the National Union of Syrian Students, Imad Al-Omar, stated in a statement to SANA that the camps were launched in the field today to complete their sessions through interactive visits to the National Museum in Damascus, and they moved on to an information rally. It is the Museum of Arabic Calligraphy, ending with the third station, which is a visit to the Umayyad Mosque and the markets of Damascus.
The “Think for Syria According to Age” initiative aims to develop young people’s ideas and turn them into action plans and programs, share them with the relevant authorities and work to implement them according to the ability and nature of the projects, explaining that this stage includes distinguished participants and owners of initiatives and ideas from the previous two stages, in addition to that it includes dialogue sessions And higher-level training on the axes presented, meetings with experts and specialized personalities, and field visits to deepen the experience in these axes, which will be followed by later, advanced stages, which contribute to mobilizing visions of thinking for Syria and the Syrians in the various stages and conditions in which we live.
Yesterday, the National Union of Syrian Students launched the activities of the third phase of the Think for Syria initiative, through four specialized youth dialogue camps in the university city of Barzeh, Damascus, with the participation of 100 male and female students from undergraduate and graduate studies from various universities.
The youth camps last for five days, and the participants discuss several axes that focus on the importance of dialogue and its impact on the path of diversity, the promotion of citizenship and youth participation, the role of youth in local development, non-traditional income generation opportunities, activating the cultural role of change, building the individual and society, and the vision of youth to develop the education system. Higher.
