Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abollahian on Thursday (November 17th) accused Israel and Western intelligence services of "
planning
" a civil war in Iran.
The Islamic Republic has been rocked by a wave of protests since the September 16 death in custody of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian Kurd, arrested by vice squad for violating Iran's strict dress code.

", said Hossein Amir-Abollahian in a tweet posted Thursday, the day after a double attack in two cities of Iran which killed ten people.

According to the Fars news agency, General Hossein Salami, head of the Revolutionary Guards, Iran's ideological army, for his part declared in Qom: “
