Iran's representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohsen Naziri, rejected the origin of the anti-country resolution issued by the agency's board of governors today, noting that his country has always cooperated with the agency on its nuclear program.
Naziri Asl said, "Iran condemns the ratification of the unanimous resolution presented by the three European countries and the United States at the meeting of the Council of Rulers today as an unconstructive and incorrect political measure and considers it unacceptable and unacceptable," stressing that the political goals of the adopters of this resolution will not be achieved, but its ratification can Affect the process of Iran's constructive cooperation and interaction with the Agency.
Naziri Asl added: “Calling Iran to cooperate with the IAEA by using the Council of Rulers as a tool and exerting pressure by approving a resolution is unjustified and meaningless,” noting that Iran's peaceful nuclear program is currently one of the most transparent programs among the IAEA member states.
Iran's representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency reaffirmed that Tehran, while adhering to the principle of fulfilling the covenant in implementing its international obligations, will remain steadfast and determined in defending the interests and rights of the country and facing the pressures and abuses of America and Western countries.
