Two people were killed today in a building collapse in the outskirts of the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The Associated Press quoted local authorities as saying: A building under construction consisting of several floors collapsed on a nearby house in the Rwaka suburb of the capital, Nairobi, killing two people, while three other people were rescued, noting that it was the second collapse this week.
The authorities stated that investigations are still underway to ascertain the causes of the accident.
According to the National Building Authority, a large proportion of buildings in Nairobi and its suburbs are uninhabitable and threatened with collapse due to several factors.
