The owner of Twitter Elon Musk announced today (Friday) in a tweet that the Twitter accounts of the comedian Kathy Griffin, of the psychologist Jordan Peterson and of the website "The Babylon Bee", will be restored to activity after being blocked.
However, he said a decision on whether to reinstate former US President Donald Trump's account has yet to be made.
Earlier today, Twitter announced the closure of the company's offices until Monday next week, in a message that employees found at the entrance to the office buildings without receiving a warning or explanation for the move.
The reports come amid increasing resignation notices from the company's employees after the new owner of the social network giant, billionaire Elon Musk, addressed the employees and called on them to commit to long and "high intensity" work hours or resign.
The message he sent to the employees read: "Please refrain from discussing the company's policy on social networks, the media or anywhere else."
The sign placed at the entrance to the company's offices reads that "Entrance to holders of all access badges is prohibited as of this moment. We thank you for your flexibility, we look forward to working with you on the exciting future of Twitter."
