Dating guru Jana Hawking says women should stay away from men with "pittaya fruit" personalities, even if they're good looking.
She explains that the tropical fruit, also known as the dragon fruit, is meant to describe someone who is "pretty awesome on the outside" but "horribly bland."
According to the guru, like the tropical fruit, the men she describes are eye-catching - but tasteless.
She had dated quite a few such men in the past and didn't feel particularly satisfied when it came to getting to know each other in depth.
The 37-year-old from Australia told the Daily Star: "I made the mistake of choosing Pitaya... Let me explain, he was ridiculously hot. Broad shoulders, a rugby player's broad body and a manly face. However, I took a metaphorical bite of his personality and found which is a bit 'blah'".

The crush quickly faded and Jana started dating someone who was "completely different" from him.
"He was less conventionally attractive, as he was a bit older, shorter and had a bit of a 'fatherly' body - but it worked for us."
Janes said that the personality and the relationship that was built between them created the sexual attraction that may have been less strong at first: "I found myself wanting to impress him and the more he opened up and talked about his life, the more I wanted to know about him. He was an adventurer who experimented with different careers, traveling and literature. She added that she is aware that everyone can be a bit of a "pitaya fruit" at times.
Although she suggests that men not only dress according to the date - but also invest in a serious and in-depth conversation.
She added: "Although it's quite simple to be a pitaya fruit, today with all the botox, the gym etc, I think it's still so important to make sure we work just as hard on our personality."
