Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, denounced the crime of the Kyiv regime forces against Russian prisoners, stressing that it is a war crime and the United Nations must condemn it.
The Russian Novosti Agency quoted Gatilov as saying in a statement today: “The crime of the Kyiv Nazi regime forces against Russian prisoners is a war crime,” noting that Russia’s permanent mission to the United Nations Office in Geneva will demand the Office of the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner to publicly condemn this heinous crime. .
Earlier today, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on international organizations to condemn the crime committed by the Kyiv regime forces against unarmed Russian prisoners of war and to launch a comprehensive investigation into this cowardly act, stressing that this crime "will not go unpunished."
