Poland has refused the Russian delegation entry to its soil for a ministerial meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) scheduled for early December in Lodz (center), indicated Friday, November 18 to the AFP the spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Asked explicitly by AFP whether Warsaw refused entry to the Russian delegation, Lukasz Jasina replied with a dry "

", expressed by text message.

The annual meeting of the 57 Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, of which Poland holds the rotating presidency this year, is to be held on December 1 and 2 in Lodz.

This ministerial meeting is the central body of this international organization, responsible for its decisions.

The annual meeting is an opportunity for foreign ministers to review and assess the security situation in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian region, as well as the work of the organization in all its fields of activity. .

Asked shortly before about the possible presence of the (Russian) Minister Sergei Lavrov in Lodz, Lukasz Jasina indicated, still by text message, "

", without however specifying whether the head of Russian diplomacy was refused entry in person.
