Söder shows himself in the reading video with a sweater – his own face can be seen on it

Markus Söder reads from a book on Instagram on the occasion of the nationwide reading day.
Above all, however, his sweater causes a stir.
Munich – It was not until Wednesday (November 16) that Markus Söder polarized with a tweet.
Bavaria's Prime Minister praised the panels and announced more financial support, after which he was accused of hypocrisy.
After all, the Union had rejected the citizen money.
Reading day: Söder posts video – "I'm a science fiction fan"
With a new post on Instagram on Friday, the CSU boss is again causing a stir.
Söder posted the video on the occasion of the nationwide reading day.
On this day you read from books that particularly interest and move you.
"And I like to take part, I enjoy it regularly," explains Söder in the video.
He chose a book “that has to do with something that moves me a lot.
I'm a science fiction fan, I'm a space fan," says Söder.
"It has always fascinated me since my childhood."

"Bavaria is a great space country," says the CSU boss, who wears a sweater in the video.
On it the lettering: Bavaria One, Mission Future - and his own counterattack.
“As a science fiction fan, I'm reading from the book 'Our way into space' today.
Two astronauts want to go into space in it," he writes about the post and jokes: "The real unmanned space flight."
Söder's sweater in particular draws attention: "Where can I get this sweater?" A man wants to know.
"Where's the hoodie?
I'm ordering a whole set for my next mall vacation.
Mission future, that's what I say," says another.
"And that ironic hoodie, the prankster," laughs another person.

Some also thank you for the reading campaign.
"Loved listening - now it's time for a podcast," writes one woman.
"Very well chosen and read very well," is another comment.
Another person says that Söder comes across as sympathetic.

But criticism is also inevitable.
"Read it out to poor children that they have to remain poor so that a certain 'Christian' union could distinguish itself politically," someone remarks, with a view to the prevented citizen's income.
"Regardless of what Söder does and posts here... it will be dragged through the dirt to the worst... Please sweep your front door and relax a bit!" Someone vigorously defended Bavaria's Prime Minister.
