Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, affirmed that the reason for the West's enmity towards Iran is its quest for development and progress, and it cannot bear to see it prospering and prominent in the world.
Imam Khamenei said in a speech he delivered today in front of a gathering of the people of the city of Isfahan: The West has plundered the world with the logic of liberal democracy for more than two centuries, stressing that the Americans committed crimes in Afghanistan over a period of 20 years, and after that they came out in a scandalous way.
Khamenei made it clear that Iran rejected this logic through its ideology, principles and attempts to strengthen national identity among the Iranian people and stood up to liberal democracy.
In turn, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said: Iran's enemies do not want to see it prosperous and developed, so they are working to stop this development in it.
Raisi made it clear in his speech today that the enemies put many obstacles in front of Iran in many areas, and conspired against the Iranian revolution, and finally they are trying to ignite sedition in it.
Raisi stressed that Iran will continue its progress regardless of the enemies’ plans, and about the nuclear negotiations, Raisi said: “We will negotiate and say what we have, but they violated the agreement, and the International Atomic Energy Agency declared 15 times that Iran’s nuclear activity has no deviation, but now they say we have doubts and the Union The European considered our proposed text in the nuclear negotiations reasonable, and America must make a decision.
