Something has noticeably changed since the last town hall meeting in Schliersee.
It's already been three years.
At the current meeting there were looks back - and above all forwards.
Bottom line: there is still a lot going on.
Schliersee – Two topics were real long-running issues in town meetings for many years: a supermarket in Neuhaus and the gymnasium.
Again and again, Mayor Franz Schnitzenbaumer (CSU) had to put off that both projects have now started.
The gym will be even more expensive, the Rewe construction site is in place
The gym is progressing according to plan, the municipality is aiming for commissioning in September 2023, but the current cost calculation shows a further increase - to 11.13 million euros.
"Still within tolerable limits," said Schnitzenbaumer.
Meanwhile, the new construction of the Rewe market has gotten out of step.
The rumors are apparently spreading, even the mayor did not know the reason for the standstill on the construction site.
Instead, councilor Philipp Krogoll (Die Schlierseer) as site manager for the project.
Experts had found "that in the event of a millennium flood," water could press into the underground car park, which made the construction of the underground car park extremely complicated. The detailed planning in order to be able to build really tightly is not yet complete. , according to Krogoll.

Months of construction site in the middle of town
If they do not drive through the Leitzachtal, the construction vehicles will probably have to struggle through a construction site in Schliersee again in the summer.
As Schnitzenbaumer announced, the bridge over the Leitnergraben will be renewed right next to the lido, "probably next year".
There will be a temporary bypass, "but we have four or five months of construction work in the middle of town."
The construction site at the Fischhausen/Neuhaus level crossing is not yet completely over.
According to Schnitzenbaumer, a few improvements are still needed here.
The municipality itself is also renovating a few streets - such as Kurzweg, Perfallstrasse, Grünseestrasse and Mesnergasse.
Some of the work represents the completion of measures that have already been started.
Spitzingsee sewage treatment plant in need of renovation: New idea
The renovation of the decades-old sewage treatment plant at Spitzingsee has been on the investment list in Schliersee for a long time.
However, it is possible that it will simply be left open and the waste water will be transported down to the valley via a pressure pipe.
According to Mayor Franz Schnitzenbaumer, this possibility is being examined.
"We will have the first results in the spring." Until then, he also wants to explore the possibility of special funding.
Because to allocate the "enormous costs" completely to the Spitzingseer (131 first and 41 second home owners), as actually prescribed, is hardly reasonable.
The discharge into the valley and thus the connection to the network of the waste water association "would be the most elegant solution", says Schnitzenbaumer.
It would save the municipality around 100,000 euros a year in personnel expenses alone plus a mid-five-digit amount in energy costs.
Start of municipal housing construction
Schliersee is also active in building construction.
On the one hand, the renovation of the residential building on Miesbacher Strasse is pending.
As reported, the community was able to buy the house for 835,000 euros, but the addition of two apartments on the top floor and the installation of central heating cost around 1.5 million euros.
According to Schnitzenbaumer, the two tenants can move into holiday apartments during the construction work.

However, it will be autumn before the construction of the new fire station in Neuhaus begins.
According to Schnitzenbaumer, this is related to tendering obligations and deadlines.
