The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces thwarted offensive attempts by Ukrainian forces, reinforced by mercenaries, in the direction of Kobyansk, and eliminated dozens of Ukrainian militants and mercenaries.
According to the Ministry's data, the active actions of its forces in the Kobyansk direction led to:
Thwarting the attacks of the tactical groups of the Ukrainian forces, reinforced by foreign mercenaries, in the vicinity of the towns of Perchotravnevoy, Kislovka and Krakhmalnoye in the Kharkov region.
- The liquidation of more than 60 Ukrainian military and foreign mercenaries.
Three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, and two armored personnel carriers were destroyed as a result of artillery fire and army air strikes.
While the preemptive actions of the Russian units on the Krasno-Limansky axis led to:
- Foiling an attempt by the Ukrainian forces to launch a tactical attack in two groups in the direction of the towns of Chervonopopovka and Ploshanka in the Luhansk People's Republic.
The elimination of up to 50 Ukrainian soldiers, and the destruction of three infantry fighting vehicles and two armored vehicles.
The offensive operations carried out by the Russian forces in the Donetsk People's Republic led to:
- The liquidation of more than 120 Ukrainian soldiers.
Two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles and seven vehicles were destroyed.
Operations today included:
Air bombardment of nine command posts in the Luhansk People's Republic, Physioluye and Novoraisk, Kherson region.
- 86 artillery units were hit in their bases and gathering centers for manpower and military equipment in 176 provinces.
The destruction of a US-made anti-battery radar (ANTPQ-50) in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Donetsk People's Republic.
Russian air defense systems shot down 10 enemy drones during the day over separate areas in Donetsk.
Results of operations since the beginning of the special military operation:
333 fighters, 177 helicopters, 2,532 drones, and 388 anti-aircraft missile systems were destroyed.
