Thomas Gottschalk has been busy preparing for the new "Wetten, dass...?" issue.
To make sure he looks great in his suit, he has put himself on a strict diet.
He has gotten extra prominent support for this.
Friedrichshafen – Viewers have been looking forward to this moment for months.
On November 19, a new edition of the ZDF cult show "Wetten, dass..?" finally flickers across the screens.
For this, Thomas Gottschalk (77) got himself physically back in shape and went through a hard slimming and detoxification regimen.

Thomas Gottschalk moderates again on Saturday evening in front of an audience of millions and is impressed by crazy bets.
But the moderator has also planned a great surprise for his audience: he is said to have lost four kilos.
The former Haribo man went on a hard diet for this.

But he wasn't alone.
He also got prominent support:
"I was in Switzerland with Mike Krüger to lose weight and detoxify.
During the fasting phase there was nothing but a terrible vegetable broth," the moderator revealed to bild.de.
Such a detox is nothing new for the blonde TV star.
