It has been twenty years that political leaders - most often right-wingers - have come out in favor of a "return to uniform" in schools or "a single outfit" at school.

Seven Renaissance deputies (the main political formation of the presidential majority) submitted last Friday to the leaders of their group a bill aimed at promoting the "wearing of a common school uniform".

The time therefore seems to have come for a clarification because the “expectations” to justify this type of proposal are multiple, even composite, and their methods of application most often rather uncertain.
