Documentation of the kidnapping attempt in Tiberias (according to Article 27A of the Copyright Law)
Today (Sunday) the prosecutor's office submitted to the district court in Nazareth an indictment against 51-year-old Anan Saleh, a resident of Yafia, for attempted kidnapping to commit a sexual offense.
According to the indictment filed by the lawyer Abel Pasternak, the defendant, who has been working for 17 years at a garage in Tiberias, decided to commit a sexual offense on a casual victim.
The defendant arrived on election day on November 1 with a vehicle he received from his employer at the central station in Tiberias, after removing the license plates and installing two others.
The accused saw the complainant and decided to kidnap her by force to his car in order to rape her.

When the complainant passed by him, the 51-year-old attacked her and tried to push her towards the vehicle.
The complainant struggled with the accused, shouted, and with her determination managed to free herself from his grip.
The prosecutor's office requests to detain the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
At first, it was suspected that the background was a nationalist event, but later it turned out not to be the case.
At the time of the incident, the young woman, in her 20s, called the police and reported that an unknown man tried to force her into his car on David Ramez Street in northern Tiberias.
The Northern District police officers arrived at the scene of the incident, began searching the nearby streets and a short time later arrested the Saleh and brought him to the police station for questioning.
