The promise from FIFA and the Qataris was not only for an impressive ceremony like no other, but also one that would convey messages of rapprochement between the general and the unification of humanity, inclusion and respect while bridging the gaps between us, with the understanding that "football allows us to unite as one tribe, where the land is The tent where we all live together" - when of course the reference is also to the El Beit stadium where the opening ceremony takes place and was built inspired by the traditional Bedouin tent.

The highest amount of money ever was invested in the opening ceremony and the Qataris prepared a ceremony that they defined as "historic" and "Olympic style". In the resume of The creative director of the ceremony recounts Olympic opening and closing ceremonies, from which much inspiration was taken for the ceremony in Qatar, which lasted about half an hour.
