The Munich animal shelter describes Kater Quirin as "completely housebroken", "sweet" - but he is plagued by a health problem.
Who takes in the playful cat?
Munich – The Munich animal shelter has a lot to do these days.
Especially with the onset of the cold season, it becomes an urgent matter: rescue animals, care for animals and, if possible, give animals a new home as quickly as possible, also in the long term.
It doesn't matter whether it's "Graf Zahn", a tomcat who is blind in both eyes, or the special Labrador mix "Dexter": They are all looking for a new home - and the tomcat "Quirin" is doing the same thing now.
An animal that attracted the attention of the Munich animal shelter because of a very special feature.
Cat Quirin: "housebroken", "sweet" and looking for a new home
A lot of attention, affection - and regular treatment with eye drops: According to the descriptions of the Munich animal shelter, a very special animal is currently looking for a new home.
The ten-year-old tomcat Quirin is considered "completely housebroken".
In addition, the animal shelter speaks of a "sweet cat", "extremely affectionate and cuddly".
A playful fellow who would "certainly be happy about the company of children from the age of twelve".

Munich: Quirin had to leave his home because he didn't get along with another cat
The reason why Quirin, despite all his endearing qualities, became a case for Munich's animal protection association: the tomcat reacted to another cat in the previous family house with uncleanliness.
The keepers observe Quirin in the shelter as a clean, housebroken animal.
However, he was simply not compatible with the cat with whom he was supposed to share the home beforehand.
In addition, a supposed advantage could quickly become a disadvantage - for example if he is alone for too long.
"He longs for a home with people who have a lot of time for him," writes the Munich animal shelter.
For full-timers who want a hangover like Quirin, he might be off the grid for that very reason.
From the Munich animal shelter: Quirin in need of care has to be treated twice a day
Quirin is also tormented by a health problem.
Accordingly, care would go hand in hand with regular care and daily treatment.
The cat Quirin doesn't have a tear duct.
According to the animal shelter, he therefore needs “eye drops twice a day”.
However, he allows this to be “administered well”.
