Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned the United States and the West in general against providing support to terrorist groups that cause riots and violence in Iran, stressing that this will not serve their interests.
During a cabinet meeting today, Raisi asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take appropriate measures through diplomatic and legal means to thwart and confront these sedition moves that are being orchestrated and directed from outside the country.
Raisi pointed to the media war and the policy of promoting lies practiced by the enemy regarding the recent unrest to target Iran, noting the primary role played by the Iranian media in thwarting this scheme.
The Iranian president also noted the great responsibility of the security services, the internal security forces and the judiciary in protecting the people and property inside the country, stressing that confronting rioters and punishing them within the framework of the law is everyone's demand and must be implemented quickly.
