The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra are hiding weapons in refugee camps in Idlib governorate and preventing international organizations from accessing them.
The deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria, Oleg Egorov, said in a statement today: “The center is receiving information about the continuous deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Harem and Salqin camps in Idlib Governorate, where the Al-Nusra Front terrorists placed weapons and ammunition depots in these camps in an attempt to hide their criminal activities.” The terrorists prevent in every possible way the representatives of international organizations from accessing these camps.
Egorov stressed that these actions of terrorists pose a direct threat to civilian lives and are another example of how terrorists use the civilian population as human shields.
Egorov announced that the terrorist organizations continued their violations in the de-escalation zone in Idlib, as they carried out 4 attacks during the past 24 hours, two violations in Idlib, one in Hama, and one in Latakia.
