The mother of the soldier who was attacked yesterday (Saturday) at the Atniel ben Kenaz tomb in Hebron repeated the incident and said that her daughter did not know the attacker - but that he was a resident of the area.
"He lifted her head, hit her and started hitting her with a stick," she said.
"She was very upset and cried, but we saw that she was physically fine except for an injury to her finger."
The police investigation to locate the suspect in the attack continues.
"This is one visitor out of 50,000 visitors," Ham said.
"We have a problem in the country with violence and I, as a mother of children, understand that they need to be educated better to avoid violence. This person is violent today towards my daughter and tomorrow he is towards someone else. He needs to be punished and he needs to know that they don't behave like that."

Tomorrow the soldier is expected to return to service.
"She continues on, her commanders are behind her and we trust them," said the mother.
"We know she is going to a good place and they embrace us. Everyone is looking for this person who behaved in this way."
At the same time as investigating the attack on the female soldier, the police arrested a 21-year-old woman, a resident of Gush Etzion, on the suspicion that she attacked a policewoman at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs during Shabbat and threatened her.
The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court ordered her release under restrictive conditions.
