-- France is, without a doubt, one of the great favorites for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Not only are they the reigning champions, but a good part of the squad that won the 2018 title in Russia is still active, and several of their players enter the competition having reached a high level.
The undisputed stars are Karim Benzema, current Ballon d'Or winner and who had already been named Player of the Year by UEFA, and Kylian Mbappé, PSG's goalscorer and one of the architects of the title four years ago.
However, Benzema will finally not play in the World Cup in Qatar due to an injury suffered during training, thus joining the loss of Christopher Nkunku, Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kanté.
Didier Deschamps will continue to be the coach and he already has the formula to become champion.
It is difficult for a team with players like Mbappé, Raphael Varane, Lucas Hernández, Aurélien Tchouaméni or Antoine Griezmann among others to be, if not a favourite, at least a protagonist in the next World Cup.
