An indictment was filed today (Monday) against Yaad Adri, a 21-year-old man from Kiryat Shmona, for the murder of Yoel Lehanghel at a party in the city about a month and a half ago.
Lahnghel was stabbed to death during a fight that developed on the spot.
As part of the affair, 115 people involved who were present at the scene were questioned, most of them children aged 13-17.
The prosecutor's office is considering filing additional indictments in the case, among other things, for obstructing proceedings.

The indictment indicates that the fight broke out after children who arrived at the scene harassed Lahnghel and his girlfriend.
As a result, Lahnghel suffered injuries to his face and one of his teeth was broken.
The police were called to the scene and dispersed those present, but later Lahnghel and his friends returned there, as well as other young people.
A confrontation developed on the spot during which Adri, who arrived at the scene with a knife hidden in his shirt sleeve, stabbed Lahnghal in the stomach and fled the scene while asking one of the children to hide the knife.
According to the indictment, Adri and Henghal did not know each other before the incident.
At the same time, this morning a correspondence was revealed in the boys' WhatsApp group, which read: "Delete every possible message in the group - and leave."

The police did not find the murder weapon, but circumstantial evidence found and collected by investigators from the Kinneret area in the northern police district, led the prosecutor's office to the decision that this evidence was sufficient to convict the suspect.
The investigation revealed that a rumor was spread in Kiryat Shmona that Thais were attacking some children.
As a result, several boys and young men arrived at the scene, including the suspect in the murder.
During the investigation, which lasted about 40 days, no evidence emerged that there was a racial motive for the murder.
From the testimonies collected from many people who were there, it emerged that an argument developed between several boys and Lehanghel, who was spending time there with his girlfriend and other friends.

Despite the large number of people involved in the fight, it was clear that it was one person who stabbed Lahnghal, and it was this stabbing that caused his death.
The investigators believe that the suspect against whom the indictment will be filed tomorrow is the stabber.
During the investigation, the police investigation department arrested a police officer on suspicion of disrupting the investigation.
According to the suspicion, actions carried out by the police officer, related to the main suspect, were intended to hide important information about one of the suspects in the murder, who is his daughter's ex-partner.
Also, the commander of the northern police district dismissed the commander of the Kiryat Shmona station from his position.
