Iran's state news agency IRNA reports that the Revolutionary Guards have carried out another attack using anti-regime tanks and missiles against regime opponents in the Kurdistan region, a continuation of the pattern of action taken by the Islamic Republic in response to the protests that began on September 16.
The combined attack that took place this morning (Monday) in Erbil was aimed at opposition bases of the PDKI, the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, a place that was the target of bombings last week.
In the documents on the networks, helicopters of the Revolutionary Guards were seen hovering over the area.

As a reminder, Tehran blames foreign parties as being responsible for the protests, including anti-Iranian Kurdish militias who they claim are behind the "unrest" in the country for about three months.
According to Oslo-based human rights organizations Iran Humans Right Watch, at least 378 civilians have been killed, including 48 children and 27 women, since the outbreak of riots that began following the death of Mahsha Amini by Iran's law enforcement agencies.
The 22-year-old young woman was arrested by the regime's modesty police because she did not cover her upper body with the traditional hijab and later died in the hospital as a result of the beatings she received.
Despite the heavy hand of the regime, the protests refuse to stop and the fear is growing in the government of Ibrahim Raisi, as well as in the rest of the security establishment in the country, that the World Cup competition which opened last night (Sunday) in Qatar will be used as an international stage for demonstrations against Iran, against the background of much criticism in the West in light of the situation.
