Some people suffer from Long Covid after their Corona infection.
There will now be a post-Covid ambulance in Erlangen from December.
Erlangen - For some people, Corona feels like a cold, others still feel effects such as coughing or shortness of breath long after the test has been negative again, and for some the infection has dramatic consequences: They suffer from Long Covid.

The University Hospital Erlangen is now getting a new outpatient clinic for the treatment of post-Covid diseases.
This was announced by the Bavarian Ministry of Science.
The interdisciplinary facility should start at the beginning of December.

"This gives post-Covid patients a central point of contact that can bundle and evaluate the test results and therapies," said Science Minister Markus Blume (CSU).
“Post-Covid patients with severe illnesses can benefit from this in particular.” These often require interdisciplinary treatment.

You can read which Corona rules currently apply in Bavaria in our overview.
An important change: the obligation to isolate has been over in Bavaria since November 16th.
Instead of the obligation to isolate, the simply formulated rule of thumb is used: If you are sick, stay at home.
Previously it was said that whoever is infected stays at home.
