Kaishi Food Co., Ltd., the parent company of Kaishi Bakery, an old local bakery, was filed by Link Real Estate Co., Ltd. in three cases last Friday (18th), alleging that it did not move out after the lease expired, requiring Kaishi Shi handed over the three stores located in Tuen Mun, Shau Kei Wan and Wong Tai Sin respectively, and recovered more than 80,000 yuan in rent and management fees.


The plaintiffs in the three cases are Link Property Co., Ltd., and the defendants are Kaishi Food Co., Ltd. and director Xiao Weijian.

The first case filed stated that, according to the lease agreement, the plaintiff leased a shop in Tai Hing Plaza, Tuen Mun, to Kaishi Foods on October 17, 2019, at a monthly rent of 70,000 yuan, and Xiao Weijian was the guarantor of the lease agreement.

However, the lease expired on October 16, 2022, and the defendant did not move out.

The filing of the second case stated that the plaintiff rented a shop in Xingdong Village, Shau Kei Wan to Kaishi Foods on November 1, 2019, at a monthly rent of 85,000 yuan.

However, when the lease expires on October 31, 2022, the defendant has not moved out and owes about 23,000 yuan.

The filing statement for the third case stated that the plaintiff and the defendant entered into a lease agreement on November 16, 2019, and rented a shop in Zhuyuan Plaza in Wong Tai Sin to Kaishi Foods at a monthly rent of 71,500 yuan.

However, when the lease expires on November 14, 2022, the defendant has not moved out and owes about 57,000 yuan.

Kaishi Foods and several of its directors were accused of failing to repay the loan. The finance company filed a petition to hand over the property. The store sells most of the floor space of the two industrial buildings in Kwun Tong, with a market value of about 800 million Kaishi Bakery and Bakery Show, with a rent arrears of nearly 1.8 million yuan.
